- Getting to Nepal
NOTE: DO NOT ARRANGE FLIGHTS until you have discussed your participation in this retreat with us!
There are details you must be aware of prior to booking!
Booking ahead may incur additional unnecessary costs to you!
Important Notes:
Arrive Nepal: Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal
Returning home: You may want to opt to stay an extra night in Nepal before flying home, as we will be flying from Tibet to Nepal the last day of the journey. This is your choice. You can either fly out later in the day or If you want to stay an extra night you should book a hotel near the airport for ease of airport access.
Upon arrival you will have paperwork/forms complete to get your Nepal Visa. The cost of the visa is $30 for 15 days stay.
Your Permit to enter Tibet can only be done by a travel agent, so that $200 fee is included in your journey fee. We will need to give our passports to our guide to get that paperwork processed when we get to Nepal.
The information provided on this website is only a short summary of what we will be doing through out our time in Nepal and Tibet. We have many more activities and plans which are not listed here.
There will be various performances, ceremonies and festivals happening this time of year.

It is highly recommended that you purchase your comfort level of travel insurance. With the uncertainty that comes with traveling, it is best to be prepared in case of disruption for whatever reason. However, this is your own personal choice. Protecting your journey investment, property, flight investments and well-being is a smart decision and highly advised.
Travel insurance options you would benefit from purchasing, but not limited to: journey cost, journey cancellation and interruption, loss due to unforeseen circumstances, death, injury, illness, missed connections due to weather, lost deposits due to financial default of airlines, tour operator or cruise line, baggage delays, travel delays, medical expenses and emergency assistance. Please read your options and terms carefully when considering your level of comfort in purchasing your travel insurance needs.
Please note: We will do our best to stick to the itinerary as planned. Please be advised that sometimes during travel things can change that are beyond our control that we may need to adjust, change, cancel or postpone as necessary. Further, sometimes unforeseen situations might require additional costs which will be at your own expense. Please be prepared. Travel Insurance is your friend.
